2. How consent works on this site

• The cookie banner offers a genuine choice between "Accept all" and "Reject non-essential", presented with equal visual weight — neither button is pre-selected or visually favoured.
• A "Manage preferences" link lets you turn analytics cookies on or off individually — no box is pre-ticked on your behalf.
• Strictly necessary cookies (consent record, cart state) load regardless of your choice, since the site can't function without them, and are never used for tracking.
• Non-essential scripts — currently only Google Analytics 4 — do not load at all until you actively accept analytics cookies. Nothing is set, and no data is sent to Google, before that choice is made.
• Your choice persists across visits (stored in the consent-record cookie above) until you change it or clear your browser data.
• You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookie preferences" in the site footer, which reopens the same granular controls.
